A man who was caught engaging in sexual intercourse with a goat in South East Muhuru in Migori County said he does that because he fears contracting HIV from women.

Otieno Jalango, 23, told area Chief Jim Kawa that it's safer to have sex with animals because they don't contract the deadly disease like human beings.
The Chief said he had received complaints from area residents who informed him that they suspect Jalango is engaging in sexual activities with their animals.
The suspect will be taken for medical tests to establish whether he's of sound mind even as irate residents demand that the administration seeks spiritual intervention on his behalf.
