Residents of Maua town in Meru County were treated to a rare spectacle after a man hung on a helicopter that was carrying Raila Odinga.
According to reports, the middle-aged man hitched a lift on the chopper as it left Maili Tatu grounds where the opposition leader had addressed a crowd.
He rode on the helicopter by sitting on its landing skids. The pilot noticed his presence after flying for four minutes, forcing him to lower the chopper so that he could jump off.
Although details about his whereabouts are still scanty, other sources say he is expected at Maua Methodist Church for medical examination.
