With a few months remaining before the next general election, everyone is already warming up for the campaign season. No one wants to be left behind; the rising political temperatures in the country is a good explanation to this. From MCAs to gubernatorial to presidential seats, many have expressed their interest but will they be voted in come next year?

Langa'ata parliamentary seat has attracted many with kinsmen Robert Kipkemboi and Nixon Korir being the most popular in the area, but word is, the people of Lang'ata have decided to settle with the young Kemboi whom they have faith in that he will transform the lives of many especially those living in the slum areas. The soft-spoken Kipkemboi seems to be a darling to many and of late, his fellow constituents have been praising him.

On the other hand,  Ruto's aide Nixon Korir, who vied in the last election and came in 4th after ODM and TNA candidates, he is said to be losing grounds to one of his competitors Robert Kipkemboi, who is believed to be gaining popularity day by day. Sources close to the top hierarchy revealed that Nixon Korir was begging the DP to reward Robert Kipkemboi with an ambassadorial position to exit the country for a startegic smooth sailing this coming elections. But it seems, that is not going to happen. In a recent meeting at the DP's  office that saw 5,000 Kalenjins living in the city attend, many appear to have lost confidence with Korir, who at one point is accused of meddling with issues affecting the Kalenjins in Nairobi at the same time shielding youths from accessing the Deputy President.

Robert Kipkemboi from TNA might outdo his counterpart Korir and Alfred Keter, who are both vying for the same seat under URP.  Whom between the three do you think will be elected by the people of Lang'ata come next general election? Well, ladies and gentlemen, meet the handsome Kipkemboi giving his counterparts sleepless nights.
