Kamwosor police officers are looking for three brothers who are alleged to have burned down a house belonging to their neighbors herdsman at Tumeiyo village following claims that their mother is having a affair with the herds boy, who happens to be married.

Confirming the morning incident the area chief Joseph Cheboi said that the three Kiptoo Lagat, Kipkosgei Lagat and Kiplimo Lagat are said to have set ablaze the house of Simuyu Baraza to teach him a lesson that what he is doing with their mother Rose Lagat is wrong and that they will not tolerate it because it is immoral especially in their Kalenjin culture.

The chief added that while burning the house the three brothers were heard saying that before their father died three years ago, he left a will to them to always safeguard their home and their mother by ensuring that everything was okay.

Joseph Kiboss, Simuyu Baraza's employer said that he has never known that his employee is in such relationship with the mother of the culprits and that the accusations come as a big surprise. He said the suspects shouldn't have taken such drastic measures though as their mother too was wrong.

Kiboss said the house together with the possessions lost were worth an estimated Ksh 80,000.

According to the villagers the culprits intentions was to burn the house while their mother and Simuyu were inside as they could no longer take it.

The suspects will be charged when arrested, with arson and attempted murder.
