Ministry of Planning and Devolution Anne Waiguru has stepped down. She cited the reason as to her health condition arising from recent tumultuous events. Her ministry has been allegedly accused of engaging in corrupt transactions. The widely publicized scenario saw her ministry being accused of purchasing a TV set for 1.7 million shillings.

She was also accused of purchasing a Sh235, 900 piano, among other ultra-expensive commodities.

Anne denied the allegations strongly.
