It is campaign season, this means that everyone has taken off their gloves.

Bare knuckles are the order of the day.

Starehe MP aspirant Boniface Mwangi has called out his political rival rapper Jaguar for defacing his posters.

In an Instagram post, Boniface wrote,

“Cry Baby Njagua can’t face me in a debate, can’t articulate why he is vying for MP but he is defacing my posters across #StareheNiBonnie #JoinBonnie1MillionChallenge”.

Kenyans online reacted to his post.

lavy8030: I just watched your interview with Larry Madowo. You such a great person. Keep singing to Kenyans until KIELEWEKE do not give up. That’s something Kenyans need. Till a time we sweep corrupt leaders out

yvonneafrostreet: Well if he has apologized then bring down the post. I don’t think this was done intentionally neither did he do it personally… the people he hired to do the job are the ones at fault and I’m pretty sure his reaction to the mistake is a good start to make it right and play fair

bwangeci10: Your 10 Bob tu for Bonnie campaign is ingenious. People are starting to feel the heat. Njagua is no doubt a gifted man in the arts arena but anyone with a pea brain will tell yours is the servitude Starehe needs. And in a few years go for the big seat. There’s a generation that is fed up with corruption, there’s a generation that wants a KENYA free from corruption. I’m a dreamer, I believe that we can be economic giants like Singapore given the right leaders in the country. If there’s anyone who get us there, it’s you. Strategize on your campaign all else is distractions.

pascale_mwavaga: Just worry about your campaign and your agenda. This is minor stuff.

njogowakaranja: Jaguar is far away from leadership, we want a real man who doesn’t cry ovyo ovyo who can battle with cartels and stand with his opinion ##unbounded #TeamCourage

lyds254: yes you shall win..but sometimes I hate how you go on about things ..you are a great leader even fit for the presidency but your ego is far much bigger than Africa! be humble after all we are the ones casting the votes..ànd as sure as you are about winning if that's the case, then don't throw it on our face…why don’t you discuss your agendas; how much prepared you’re to transform Starehe, how much growth we should respect and so forth without smearing mud on others! It’s ok to call on corruption and bad leadership but i believe there’s a mature and more appropriate way to go about it rather mind you dirtifying’ other people’s names. #nooffence #myoppinion.
