Two suspected thugs have been shot dead near Shell petrol station along Lusaka Road in Nairobi in a botched robbery. The suspects were riding on a motorbike when they were trailed and killed by police on patrol.

The officers said the men were planning to commit a robbery in the area. Cases of attacks by men on motorbikes are on the rise in the city.
