Former secular artiste Amani turned gospel singer Amani together with her Nigerian man Chinasa Udeala have welcomed their first child together.
Chinasa announced the birth of their newborn through social media.
He posted a photo holding his baby and captioned it,
Thank you Jesus for all your goodness. Another Udeala makes an appearance. #Happiestmanalive.
His followers congratulated him and Amani on their newborn.
Amani is now a mother of two.
The Missing my Baby hitmaker ditched secular for gospel industry in early 2018.
Her move ignited mixed reactions with many claiming that she had switched because it (gospel) pays handsomely compared to secular music.
She addressed this in a previous media interview and said,
I HAVE HEARD RIDICULOUS THINGS SINCE I ANNOUNCED THAT I GOT SAVED. GUYS CLAIM THAT I AM SWITCHING TO THE GOSPEL BECAUSE OF MONEY. I WAS BORN AGAIN A WHILE BACK. BEFORE I MADE THE ANNOUNCEMENT, NO ONE SAID ANYTHING. PEOPLE CAN BE JUDGMENTAL AND IT’S OFTEN BASED ON PERCEPTION. I PREFER TO FOCUS ON MY RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD AND GETTING TO KNOW HIM MORE.
