Kiss FM legendary presenter has a powerful story of how he propelled himself from the pits to the palace.

Speaking to MC Jessy, he narrated how his late father struggled to take him through school.

Life was so hard that he promised himself that he will take himself through tertiary education by hook or by crook.

Jalango said,

'I had told people that the day I graduate would be one of the biggest things in my life cause I remember why I had to go to school late."

Read all about it on the link below.

Jalango continued,

"The biggest thing is because of my father, when he passed on, he told me one thing, 'Make sure your mother has a home and your siblings go to school'. So when my brothers graduated and my sisters is married, doing their own things and everybody is settled down, i decided to go to school because I could now afford it.'

Jalango's educational journey started at Lake Primary school where  he scored 442 out of the possible 700.

He was called to Maseno Secondary but his dad couldn't afford that. So he went to a local district high school.

"After I completed high school everyone had started joining campus and university, I asked my dad naenda college lini?"

He wanted to join the parallel university program. According to Jalas his dad has never laughed so hard.

"akaniambia,' you you've seen what I have gone through to take you through  high school youre talking about college I'm expecting you start helping the family.'

From that day onwards, Jalango started hustling and it is only recently that he graduated at Daystar University.
