Popular screen siren Betty Kyallo will be spending her days in bed. This is after she underwent minor surgery to remedy a recurring medical condition that was constantly putting her down.
Towards the end of May, Betty was hospitalised. She posted a picture on her social media and her fans were in utter shock at the news anchor’s sudden illness.
SHE WROTE, “AND JUST LIKE THAT, I’M IN HOSPITAL.”
Hours later after the first announcement. Betty emerged and spoke about her stint in hospital.
“HEY MY PEOPLE… IM GREAT… FEELING MUCH BETTER. FATIGUE AND SOME BAD TONSILS GOT ME DOWN TODAY BUT IM NOW BETTER CHILLIN AT HOME. PIA KUDUNGWA SHINDANO SOME PLACES SI MCHEZO. NAWAPENDA.”
Now, Betty decided to get the tonsils removed all together.
A fan advised, “You’re lucky. Speedy recovery. I’ve always wanted to do it too but I read a story of a girl who has been a comma after the surgery and I chose to stay with my problem.”
Betty’s case was different she got out of the surgery alive. The screen siren told her fans…
“Happy to be home after a successful surgery to remove my tonsils. Finally did it after being scared to do so after many years yet I kept suffering with tonsilitis inflammation almost every month.”
Betty revealed to her fans, “I had it done at Nairobi Hospital under Doctor Irungu Ndirangu. He is really good. Thats where I had reached actually, the medicine stopped working. So there was no other way out.”
She added, “And as much as the recovery process is tough i’m looking forward to better days. Happy dance!💃 now to the hardest part which is eating and talking… but that Special ice cream diet so far 😅 is dope. Thanks to God for a successful procedure. Big thanks to my fantastic doctor, all my friends and family who were right by my side and the amazing team at Nairobi Hospital. Blessings to you.”
Her fans fell over themselves as they scrambled to wish her a quick recovery and a few tips on dealing with the after surgery effects.
leena_ingati: Its not a minor surgery. Take ice-cream for starters
joymaureen43: Betty, good to hear you doing good. Exercise those muscles we need you to get back to default settings real quick. Sa maziwa, smoothie nini nini uachane na kdf for some time.
nyokkabi: Mine was a journey like no other😂😂😂😂 ..welcome to hell…but within no time it will be over…
ms_kimalen: Quick recovery, had mine removed in January it was a relieve but months later my taste buds are very dysfunctional. Food and stuff you like may taste different just be prepared for it.
clairemuindi: Oh girl so sorry for that. Pray for my son too he is going to remove his tonsils this coming weekend, they have made his health deteriorate since he eats so poorly and class work affected too for he is always down with fever. But yes, we need that long term solution especially now that i have always wanted him to retain his tonsils.quick recovery hun. You are beautiful.
_maureenwamboi_: A tip that worked for me .. blend food and after every spoon drink water it works like magic. Also take your painkillers and a specific time like I used to take 30 minutes before eating so no pain and.. the antibiotics make sure if you take it at 8am make sure you take it the next day at exactly 8 am … also if you have been taking a lot of antibiotics before the surgery let you doctor know coz I became resistant to antibiotic hence I bleed after a lot and trust me it is the most scariest thing you can go through.. other than that .. you will feel like a super woman no colds, etc.
