On Sunday 23^rd July, Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant Mike Sonko launched his manifesto alongside his running mate Polycarp Igathe. Polycarp was joined by his wife who was introduced to the public as they danced on stage.

Mike Sonko was accompanied by his wife and the children were also not left out. She was ushered in with the song 'Malaika' by Nyashinski as they danced on stage. In her speech she praised Nairobi woman rep, Rachael Shebesh saying she is her best friend.

She finished by humbly asking the people to elect the Jubilee party come 8th of August.

This came as a shock considering the alleged affair between Mike Sonko and Rachael Shebesh back in 2013. Her statement assured Kenyans that those were just but rumors and they are on a clean slate.

At the end of Sonko's speech, he asked Peter Kenneth to join the jubilee team as it is a large team where he is assured of a position in government.

The event was also graced by Sonko's children who were all introduced to the public one-by-one as he mentioned being the youngest grandfather in the world. Sonko gave a brief history about his adopted children which had the audience in awe of his job well done.
