In a tune of around 5 years, things have totally changed for the singer. He's risen to be one of the most celebrated singers in the East African region. Yesterday, he revealed what he was doing long before a big number of his fans recognized him for his hit songs "Ukimwona" and "Number One."

He revealed that he was selling second hand clothes (mitumba) after posting a photo of his loyal fan who was his customer back then. He said he remembers the plethora of problems he went through before making it in life:

"Today i met a lady who use to be my Diehard Customer when i was selling clothes back in the days before being who i am Today....it reminds me alot!"
