DJ Mochi, a Kenyan DJ is making it big in the industry. Forget the slay queens, this girl is all independent and signed under Generation Now entertainment in the US.

Born Anne Mong'are, Mochi is already one of the celebrated deejays in Minnesota.  And yes, beauty, talent and brains is her portion. She's an engineer currently pursuing a masters in the same field.

"A lot of people know me as a DJ. I feel like I live two separate lives, on weekdays I'm working and on weekends I'm deejaying its like two separate things. Besides that, I'm also in school. [The hectic schedule] it doesn't affect me."

Did I mention she's also a pilot? Mafisi vuteni stools!

It seems she's started 2018 with a bang...By quitting her highly paying engineering job. She is set to deejay at the NBAs if all goes as planned.

"I'm thinking of quiting my engineering job for full time deejaying. I'm using my energy to capitalize on my work I can always go back later. I got a really sweet deal, its a company that works for sports like NBA, I wanna get into that market."

But is she dating?

"I'm not dating.Right now I'm really focusing on my career."

She then described her ideal man:

"Intelligence is key to me, someone  who can challenge me, God fearing, who respects women...A gentleman."
