The daughter of a female ODM politician who has made headlines in the past for the wrong reasons tied the knot with the love of her life in a lavish ceremony this past Saturday.

Gorgeous Hafidha - the daughter of Mombasa Woman Representative Mishi Mboko - sealed her union with one lad only identified as Tariq in a Muslim-themed wedding.

In attendance at their nuptials were the who is who of Mombasa County including Governor Hassan Joho, alias 001, who later took to social media to wish them a happy union.

"I wish the newly weds a very happy and fruitful marriage as they start a new chapter in life," he posted.

Mishi Mboko was the talk of the town in June 2014 after the office of the Director of Public Prosecutions ordered her prosecution over some remarks that she made at a rally.
