Nominated Member of Parliament (MP) Isaac Maigua Mwaura and his wife Nelius Mukami are expecting their first child.

The first-time legislator who represents Special Interest Groups (SIGs) could not hide his joy when he took to Facebook a few hours ago to share the good news.

Mwaura posted a series of photos showing him holding his wife who looks like she's ready to give birth any day now - except that she’s actually due in a few weeks.

He also expressed gratitude to the Lord for answering their prayers saying; "God is faithful.. We thank Him for the answered prayers. He is truly a great God. His word is final!"

The youthful MP tied the knot with Mukami on June 26, 2015 at Green Gardens grounds off Kiambu Road.

Their wedding saw the attendance of various high profile guests including former PM Raila Odinga. The newly weds were later hosted by President Uhuru Kenyatta at State House.
