Kenyans are truly minting money! And Kenya's richest DJ seems to be leading the fray. The guy wasn't done when he launched a Maybach, he has gone a step further and gotten for he and his associates a fat pay cheque!

Once again, Kenya's richest DJ, DJ CK makes me take a long look at my life and ask where I went wrong. DJ Chris Kirubi just sold UAP to Old Mutual and the acquisition is said to be one of the most lucrative in Kenya's history.

London based Old Mutual said that it paid Centum Investments Company , Chris Kirubi and some other private equity firms 152million pounds or 20.4billion shillings. All in all, DJ Ck for his part made a cool 3.2billion shillings when the money was eventually shared out.
