I think I’m falling in love with Matatus. Of late there are new matatus on the city roads, and I kid you not, they are just amazing. Most of the Matatus are well decorated, with pictures of the world’s greatest icons and that’s why they leave heads turning.

Well, last week when I was on leave, I had a chance to walk around the city bus stops, and I was mesmerized by what I saw. Nairobi’s economy is growing so fast, and this is evident from the matatu culture. Everyday, we see new matatus on the roads, a clear indication that indeed the Matatu business is still booming despite the hard times.
