The much-anticipated Groove Awards finally went down at the Kasarani Safaricom Stadium on Saturday. Many artistes turned up hoping to at least get an award, but for some luck was not on their side. Others like Bahati however left the venue smiling after carrying the day.

The "Mama" hit maker scooped 4 awards among them Male Artiste of the Year for the second time and video of the year. The humble singer also won the award for most downloaded song on Skiza Tune at the Groove Awards .

Bahati took to Facebook to appreciate his fans for making him number one and this is what he wrote

"TO GOD BE THE GLORY!!!... We have Put a New Record in GROOVE AWARDS. We have Taken Home Four Main Awards. And for the Second time in a Row. THE MALE ARTIST OF THE YEAR GROOVE AWARDS 2015 Goes to ........................"
