Bahati and Diana Marua have spoken about what they believe is an onslaught against them. During an interview with Kiss FM on Thursday night, Bahati said he was unhappy with most of the stories about him in the past few weeks. He said:

The people who attacked Diana are the people who tried to attack me so that I could respond to them...

Diana defended her husband's playful character by telling the host that she had had to encourage her husband that not everyone would understand him.
