A man who was the talk of the town after winning Sh10 million in the M-Cheza jackpot will be on the ballot in August 2017 after clinching a Jubilee party ticket.
Edmond Ng’etich bagged the tidy sum in August last year after predicting the outcomes of 13 games correctly.
According to reports, Ng’etich – who tied the knot with 5000m Commonwealth champion Mercy Cherono in December 2016 – floored all his five opponents to win the ticket for the Member of County Assembly (MCA) in Kaplelartet ward.
Its widely believed that his marriage to Cherono as he also defeated the incumbent Andrew Soi.
However, Ngetich, who holds a degree in Business Administration from Kabianga University, says it was natural for him to join politics since his father also served as a councillor.
