The late Nicholas Biwott, the highly secretive and powerful politician passed away aged 77 and is being laid to rest today.

The late Biwott was a famous and powerful politician during the Moi era but all that is now gone. His burial ceremony is at Maria Soti Secondary School before he is buried at his home in Toot village.

Although termed as a man of the people, many people disagreed with that and reacted badly after details emerged via Google coordinates that helped people find Biwott's resting place.

Today was no better after photos of the hearse carrying his body was seen stuck in mud. This prompted the people in attendance to help push it 'wasichome picha'
