Today is a special day. It is Father's Day. It's celebrated on the third Sunday of June. It is a celebration honoring fathers and celebrating fatherhood, paternal bonds, and the influence of fathers in society. Many people have celebrated their fathers in different ways. Some sent them phone messages, others traveled far and wide just to be with these special beings in our lives.

Mike Sonko's daughter Salma, is among the many who couldn't let this special day pass by without wishing her father a happy Father's Day. Salma jotted a long message to her father, flamboyant Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko, describing him as the best man she has ever met.
