Avril is arguably, one of the biggest female artistes in the male dominated music industry in Kenya. The singer reveals some of the things she has been able to learn from being in the local entertainment industry. 

And they are:

1. All that glitters is not gold.

2. If you set your mind to something and focus all your energy on it, you will experience the most amazing success.

3. The company you keep says a lot about you. Sometimes it will actually define who you are therefore you need to be careful on who you let stay close to you.

4. So long as you or what you do is something valuable to someone, then you will be important to them. Therefore, stay important, stay relevant.

5. Relevance doesn't mean a lot of things that people think it means. Sometimes just being you is all you need.
