"Ka-Beeeeeep" ...you've just received a message. Incoming very hot! It's one of your two smartphones and it vibrates hard, buzzing around with a purpose. Never mind that you set it this way. Loud volume, hardest vibration. "Simu yangu, settings zangu! I don't care what other people think."

You reach out to grab it and you quickly unlock the screen, simultaneously peeping at the notifications. It's a message and from one of your favorite WhatsApp groups. The one which keeps you informed of the latest events but most of all, it makes you look good. Very very good. You see, you're a trusted "supplier" of content to ten other WhatsApp groups, six of which you are an admin. Wewe ndio source.

In fact, you beat your chest every morning and speculate how your parents and your teachers would be proud if only they knew about your influence. It's almost like you own a media house. A very big one. If your thumb could talk (and tell the whole world about the stuff it has typed) ...wacha tu!! At least you're humble and quiet about it.

"Kerplonk" ...the screen unlocks with that tasteful noise. Straight to the inbox and you tap the group. (Let's give the group a name, shall we? Yes. Call it Big Pimpin'. At the top reads "Alex, Frankie, Tina, Kelvin, Jess...")

"Waah! Guys, check this out. Happened last week!", reads the text and it's followed by a video. It's loading slowly. You can't wait for that circle with an 'X' in the middle to complete the 360 degree lap. Seems like the longest 10 seconds of your life but since you've been practicing patience, you grit your teeth. After all, you won bundles last week on Twitter so it's all good.

It finally downloads. You tap it and sit upright waiting to be entertained.

Absolutely fantastic! It's an entertaining clip and you can't wait to push it. Some gentlemen were celebrating The Gunners' victory in the craziest fashion dancing, singing and gyrating before one of them goes to sit down and swooooosh! He falls hard. It's hilariously ...especially because his friends had pushed away the chair unknowingly in the excitement. You immediately recognize the guy who fell down ...he's the CEO of a reputable company who on this day, had let loose and was all out. Baaaaas!!

You immediately type those magic words in group one (let's call this one Wazito FC). The words are, As Received. You copy paste and you forward it to your media house outlets (read, your ten WhatsApp groups). Aaah, yes!!!

Thirty minutes later and the responses are abuzz!!! You gave it thirty minutes because you wanted to build up anticipation. Yup, still practicing patience. Everyone's is entertained and one thing stands out - people recognize you as the source and people want to go to that place. Besides, it looks great.

Fortunately, you have even more 411. You make an important announcement to your media house that you've got word of what's happening on Friday and Saturday, not only at Heri Square in Ruaka but in many other locations in Nairobi. It's #MadeOfBlack254 ...you get to be rewarded with every purchase of a Guinness bucket and you stand to win amazing prizes.

The WhatsApp Message goes something like this: Important Announcement: If you want to be rewarded with every purchase of a Guinness bucket, this is where you need to be this weekend.
