When I was younger, I was a bright kid in class. I would spend a lot of time on books...with little play time. My mother was always busy fending for us. When she got home, she would dive straight into preparing a scrumptious meal for us.

Throughout supper time, she would crack jokes and tell us how awesome we are. She would encourage us to study hard and not be difficult kids. She would paint a beautiful picture of the lovely life ahead of us. That’s how I grew to be a principled young man.

However, because of her busy work schedule that entailed early morning and fast evenings, we never got ample time to have story time sessions with her. The most beautiful childhood stories I ever got were not from her, unfortunately.

I used to spend a lot of time with my favorite aunt and she would get a copy of her high school set books and narrate amazing tales to me. It was so fascinating that I fell in love with storytelling ...something that later made me the writer I am today,

Many Kenyan moms don’t get to spend time with their kids and bond more with them. It is for this reason that Geisha has launched an the amazing Stories For Life program. It encourages mothers to spend more story time with their kids, as it makes them be the best they can be when they grow up.

Geisha acknowledges that one of the most important things in a child’s development is a meaningful, healthy relationship with at least one adult.

With that in mind, Stories For Life will help mothers bond more with their children. This program will see them download beautiful stories for free that their children can listen to. These are educational stories that will put the future of their children in good hands.
