Joy Doreen Birra has been on our screen for way too long and we loved her as the Kenya Television Network (KTN) News anchor. Well, this is no more. She has taken up another job away from what we know her as.

Last year Doreen trended after being arrested alongside her fiancé and three other people from her uncle’s house. It was reported that she had entered a restricted area during the operation by security personnel.

She is about to heavily break the internet. After gaining respect and fan love for the longest time, Doreen has left the screens for a while and joined The Ministry of Minning. In an exclusive interview with Mpasho,she said that this year she has plans to help the youth.

She said that she joined by applying for the job like everyone else and she was lucky enough to qualify for the job. Her main aim is to help the youth understand that there are job opportunities in the mining industry away from Nairobi.

Her main focus is still communication but strategic and digital communication where she will be dealing mostly with business.
