Larry Asego and his brother Lavin Asego are a name that should ring familiar for any rugby fans in Kenya. Why? They have been a staple on the national team time and again, giving everything to represent their country. But that was back in the day for Larry, you know, before the gut grew.

And trust me when I say I am going into self imposed exile just after I hit the published button because this man is a mountain and can very well break me in half. But this is a good piece. It's a happy piece. So peace.

Larry Asego and his wife welcomed a happy, healthy bouncing baby boy last Friday and this is their second son which now makes theirs a happy family of 4. Larry was staring daggers at me when he overheard me say I was looking for photos of he and his beautiful French wife and their new son but fortunately for me (my scrawny neck is rather fragile), there are none.

SCRATCH THAT!

The 2035 rugby team now only needs 3 more member seeing as Larry Asego's two sons already have the call up and so do their two cousins. The Asego name looks set to reign over Kenyan rugby for a long time to come. Now to go disappear in Enugu!
