Anita Nderu has opened after her controversial tweet about LGBTQ revealing that she lost friends and gigs terming her tweet as controversial.

‘I hope my kids never have to go through what I have gone through for being LGBTQ+,’ she tweeted

She said this on Friday in an interview with Radio Jambo's Massawe Japani;

"I believe eveyone has been in love. I think its unfair to force people to conform to what people belive is the defination of whats right and whats wrong."

"When issues about LGBTQ are spoken about, people start saying thats not in the Bible and not religious. Those who brought us that religion have agreed to this. Pope himself has agreed."

Adding;

"Why would someone refuse to give you work because you are in love with your fellow man or woman. It has nothing to do with your credentials, professionalism and doesn't affect your work. Who someone chooses to love is none of your business. People say thats not AFrican but the World has changed, people need to be allowed to love who the want as long as it doesn't affect anyone else."

"When it happens, I get calls from different people. What I do is ignore and put my phone on silent. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, just that it gets personal when someone involves parents into something that has nothing to do with them, I generally respect people's opinion."

"When I put something on my personal account, that's my opinion."

"Some people I know will speak bad about me in public and apologize in private."

Asked whom she is dating, she said;

"I didnt want to talk about my relationship but I am with a man,"
