Comedian Eric Omondi's wedding to Band Beca's Carol Kamweru was private with less than 100 people attending.

The alleged wedding happened last week on Wednesday according to the comedian.

Speaking to , he said he chose to make it private as he did not want to spend so much and be left with debts to pay later.

'Weddings should be private. Don't allow people to come mpaka wengine wanaishiwa na mchele. I only invited close friends and family.

When he was asked if his baby mama, Jacque Maribe and his ex-girlfriend Shantal were invited, Eric laughed it off and said;

'We, unataka aniharibie. You do not invite exes to your wedding. Watakuharibia siku na harusi pia. Invite everyone else but not exes.'

Among the few friends invited were; Eric's mother, Bonfire CEO, Simon Kabu, his brother Fred Omondi, Eddie Butita among others.
