Andrew Kibe and Kamene Goro set for a new chapter in their lives as they prepare to take over Kiss Breakfast.

The pair known for their controversial stint at NRG Radio will be faced with the daunting task of filling in Adelle's shoes.

They will be joining the Kiss 100 family after the completion of their last day on Friday, June 14, 2019.

Kiss Breakfast which was run by Caroline Mutoko and then Adelle reaches over 2 million millennials whereas NRG's breakfast show only garnered 800,000 listeners according to the April Geopoll survey.

As one can expect with a bigger audience and bigger brand, Kibe and Kamene will be forced to bring their A-game.

In poaching the pair, Radio Africa Group is signalling intent to continue dominating Nairobi and indeed Kenyan radio.

Following this, July will see a whole new Kiss Breakfast get launched complete with a new studio as Radio Africa Group has been re-investing in the upgrade of all its studios.

It remains to be seen whether Andrew Kibe and Kamene Goro can translate their unique style on a much larger platform, with a larger audience and state of the art studio. They have been asked to beat the Classic and Jambo breakfast shows.

Radio Africa dominates the Nairobi radio market having 3 out of the 4 top slots in the latest April Geopoll Kenyan audience research.
