A Kenyan promoter based in the USA has come out to vehemently deny that he set up DJ Creme to be mercilessly deported from the US.

The promoter, Kelly Ochieng has written a strongly worded statement defending himself from claims that he "snitched" on Creme de la Creme thus ensuring he was denied entry into the US.

In an interview with Kiss FM's Kalekye Mumo, Creme said that the immigration officer actually asked him about his "sex tape" among other questions.

Anyhow, in the interview, Creme named Kelly Ochieng as the "snitch" who planned the immigration ambush that led to the DJ being denied entry.

Kelly took to his facebook to defend himself.

He wrote:

"DJ Creme is a serious brand that should not be subjected to visiting visas then when shit hit the roof yall start blaming people for your unpreparedness. My name is in some peoples mouth because my work is doing all the talking. No short cuts"

This is not all, Kelly also called out a number of people.

"Ladies & Gentlemen there are people who have a lot of drama and talk a lot for the sake of likes. When competition becomes too much to handle they start to engage in slander either for sympathy or mercy. Customs and the port of entry are not fools, you can not lie to them that you are coming to the US to eat ICE CREAM yet you have flyers & you have taken down payments for doing shows in the US - they consider that work.

Ata kama una leta msani or dj, una need kum prep before afike hapa, kama dj ana uliza kwa text ni nini hawa watu u uliza then ina onyeshe wewe mwenyewe una chukua risk yet haujui what una fanya.

If you make an investment for artists or djs to come to the states please apply for a work permit or fanya homework yako. Learn your lessons & move on, don't build on a narrative that someone is so important that they can call the embassy or customs & stop someone from coming in. That is cheap propaganda to save your event that was ultimately going to fail.

A few years ago I learnt this & all my djs & artists are all on work permits. So you can refuse to compete fairly & decide to tag my name so your status can be famous or you can decide to compete fairly. Fact is I have brought so many people here to the states for shows. Break point is a leader in that. In fact the last episode was Nelly who the same promoter confused and lied to only for him to go through what Creme is going through now. The promoter is simply lazy & unprofessional & clearly whats to drag my name in his mess.

I work hard to create an event that people respond to & I am glad yall have supported me fully. I am very sorry for Creme who is a cool friend of mine. I wish nothing like that for anyone. Creme should know that I paid for the main flyer he was being promoted on for Dallas. I even recommended promoters to buy his shows. My assessment is simple - Creme was not prepared fully by the host promoter, he probably got questions he was not 'prepared for' and since its a visiting visa, he was sent back. On the other side, the promoter wants sympathy so he will cry & complain & blame someone. I mean why would a promoter post a personal conversation he had with Creme on facebook just to justify their unpreparedness & unprofessionalism & blame someone else for their failure? "Coming to celebrate memorial weekend with friends & then visit the white house", really! Hio sasa une prep dj on how kujibu port of entry.

DJ Creme is a serious brand that should not be subjected to visiting visas then when shit hit the roof yall start blaming people for your unpreparedness. My name is in some peoples mouth because my work is doing all the talking. No short cuts
