A 4-year-old boy who had been abducted by gangsters from their Thika home was rescued on Tuesday, December 10.

Kelson Kimani was found in Nairobi's Kasarani estate in the company of three suspects who were reportedly moving him from Ruaka to Mwiki.

Saidi Kiprotich, Head of Flying Squad, said the gang was moving the boy to another house after realizing that their hideout had been compromised.

A taxi driver and a woman were among those apprehended in the operation that was jointly conducted by the Special Crimes Prevention Unit and Flying Squad.

Earlier this week, four suspects were arrested four suspects, including a neighbour, were arrested in connection with the boy's kidnapping.

Kelson was kidnapped from their home in Thika Section 9 by robbers. The also made away with a large sum money.
