City criminals seem to be on the rampage. Despite the fact that hundreds were gunned down in the past few months, including ringleader of the dreaded Gaza gang George Mwaniki aka Mwanii Sparta, there are still many who can't refrain from stealing.

Recently, a notorious criminal was burnt beyond recognition by an angry mob after he was found stealing steel doors from a house under construction in Dandora area.

One of the city's fierce cops, Hessy wa Dandora, took to social media to use the deceased as an example, calling upon the remaining thieves to transform before it's too late.

"Many of life's failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up and ended up this way:..the future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their positive dreams, not the ones who are out to harvest wot doesn't rightful belong to them."

Adding;

"This man (photos at the end of the story) was burnt beyond recognition after he was caught red-handed in action(stealing steel doors from a house under construction within Dandora Phs 3). Am left with no option than to congratulate everyone that participated in this operation of ensuring he(the thug) is no more.

The job is encouraging because that's the only way out and a lesson to the remaining idiots out there who are still planning to engage in criminal activities. I want to tell you criminals that your time is limited unless you change your characters and start living positively."

Other three thieves were killed in separate places after they were ambushed by the police.

"#KARIOBANGI_SOUTH #TWO_DOWN wezi wa kuiba using pikipiki-Reg No_:KMDZ 399U pia wamepatana na iyo kitu," another city cop wrote on facebook.

"One Portmore member-Mbogy ya kina Kevo(area ya total) amepatana na iyo kitu hapo Kariobangi South Primary," another police shared in one of the Facebook crime groups.
