Months after allegedly being hospitalized Mwalimu King'ang'i has revealed that the doctor ordered his co-host Maina Kageni to quit taking alcohol.
This, he revealed during their morning discussion on Classic 105.
The debate was based on why President Uhuru can't sign a bill for alcohol not to be sold during this period when Kenya is fighting Covid-19.
'Si kwanza wewe daktari alikuambia uwachane na pombe?'
Maina defended himself saying,
'I am very disciplined, I can stay without alcohol and I do not break curfew hours.'
A few months ago, word went round that Maina Kageni had been admitted into a hospital and many concluded he had contracted Covid-19.
Speaking during an interview with Word Is, Maina said he had not been admitted but rather treated and discharged.
"I have just come from seeing a doctor. I was not feeling well yesterday I was vomiting and running a fever. I went in, tests were run, I was treated and discharged... I'm fine."
In South Africa, President Ramaphosa signed a bill into law stating that no alcohol was to be sold till the country marks 0 Covid-19 cases.
Would you obey the orders if President Kenyatta was to sign a bill stopping alcohol from being sold in a bid to help fight the spread of Covid-19?
