Alshabab Claim Responsibility Of The Deadly Mandera Quarry Attack

More than 36 Kenyans were killed in the early morning attack in Mandera county by al shabaab. Most of those killed were quarry workers from Kiganjo Nyeri County and reports also indicate that several people are missing following the attack. Other attacks have been reported in Mandera county whereby 12 people were injured including a child approximately 10-12 years at club after a twin grenade attack.

Alshabaab have claimed responsibility of the deadly attack in a letter posted on twitter. We await for the president and other security forces to give a press release concerning the attack.
