We all know Mike Sonko is rich. The flamboyant politician took it to Twitter to brag how he is a major contribution to Safaricom's profits. According to him, Safaricom’s big margin profits are due to his subscription to the telecom company’s services.

“I can confirm that almost ¼ of @SafaricomLtd’s profits can be traced back to me due to my active MPESA accounts. You are welcome guys,”

He tweeted. This comes after Safaricom announced that its total revenue increased by 14.6% to Kshs 79.3bn during their 2014/2015 financial year report.

Mike Sonko is known to be one kind, generous and understanding Kenyan politician no wonder most people even those from outside Nairobi County flock his office whenever they ned help.
