COVID-19 is causing havoc for love birds. This has led the All Saints Cathedral management to change how events at the venue will be organised.

The church has asked it's congregants hosting weddings for the next four weeks to consider cancelling.

In cases where the nuptials cannot be cancelled, the Cathedral has advised couples to consider a 30-minute ceremony within the church precincts. The caveat is, however, the newlyweds will only be able to have 10 people at the ceremony.

Following the government directive to self-quarantine, parties who have travelled in the recent past will be required to have self-isolated or sought medical attention before attending the said wedding.

The latest comes after the church suspended all Sunday church services and cancelled meetings that were to be held at the premises from Wednesday.

Following suit on this move to stop the spread of coronavirus, Nairobi Chapel has also cancelled all their church services.

They will come up with packages for their congregants to be able to worship and fellowship in the safety of their home.
