It seems like her sacking has made some people happy and they are not afraid of showing it. Among them is popular journalist and blogger Jim Bonnie who put up a post celebrating her departure from the Dennis Pritt Road-based media house.

According to him, Kirigo Ngarua breathed to hard while anchoring news and it was about time the company got rid of her. But that's not all, Jim also wondered why the company   hired her in the first place before calling her an idiot.

Surprisingly, he had some good things to say about Terryanne Chebet whom he described as "a sober and objective anchor".

Have a look at his post below.

Royal Media Services (RMS) – the company that is behind Citizen TV, Radio Citizen and a number of vernacular radio stations – sent out a communique on Wednesday, October 26 announcing plans to downsize staff.

The internal memo which was authored by the Group Managing Director Wachira Waruru said the company had to re-organize their workforce as a result of the changes witnessed in the broadcasting industry.

The company said it would undertake the exercise while adhering to legal provisions and that the affected members of staff will be provided with necessary support to help them manage the transition.

Among those affected by the job cuts were Terryanne Chebet, Kirigo Ngarua, Shisia Wasilwa and Mercy Oburu.
