Akothee who is a mother of 5 is always advocating for women and children considering the fact that she has always been a single mum. She took to her social media to mourn the death of a 5 year old child who committed suicide.

Very sad , a child whose mother died when he was only 3 months old , has committed suicide at the age of 5 years , he has been living with his father ! I really dont know the back ground of what triggered this , & how a child of 5 can think of hanging himself ! God have mercy upon women & children , the stigma & rejection is growing deeper & your people are sad , suffering & humilliated , God have mercy upon women & children , God may your will be done upon any human being pointing fingers at women & children , lord have mercy for they dont know what they are doing , Lord forgive step mothers & dads mistreating innocent children in the absence of their biological parents , Lord help women accept their children ,embrace them & give them warmth & hope !for nothing can replace a mother , Lord help young girls who are already pregnant not to hide the fact that they are carrying lives , help people arround them to give them positive vibes & not criticising them for Lord we are all short of glory & work in progress , God give me strength to see my children grow . its my humble prayer in Jesus name

In the post she says women and children suffer stigma, rejection and humiliation and this could be root cause of such case, she prayed for the heartless step mothers and dads who mistreat children in the absence of their biological mothers.She went ahead and advised young girls who are pregnant not to hide the fact that they are carrying lives and prayed to God for strength to see her children grow.
