Esther Akoth, popularly known as Akothee or madam boss, is a Kenyan socialite, songwriter, dancer, socialite and entrepreneur.
Besides being a CEO of Akothee Safaris, a tour company based in Kenya, and Akothee Homes, a real estate business, she wears another cap.
Madam boss is the founder of Akothee foundation.
Earlier today, she took Instagram to announce that she will be having a fundraiser for Lady Maureen.
Lady Maureen is a popular Luo Ohangla musician called Maureen Atieno.
She has been receiving treatment at the Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital.
She was discharged on Monday but has no place to go to after her mother rejected her.
Lady Maureen who has been ailing for quite some time now fell out with her mother who has since refused to take her in as she continues to recuperate.
Akothee has taken initiative to help her again once again. Initially, she had ensured that she was admitted to hospital and received good medical attention.
Haloo ,hope you had a good day, had
communication with MOURINEs Family ,and she is at her uncles place, who has accepted to give her a piece of land to build a home for her/ mother , my mother will be going to PAP ONDITI ON OUR BEHALF to tell us what’s on the ground 🙏🏾🙏🏾, my health is not like before that I could jump left right 💪, can we schedule our fundraiser for LADY MOURINE FROM 9.00 PM TOMORROW NIGHT ?
I will drop the flayer at 9.00 pm Thursday , and let it run until Monday, 10,00 am , and announce, or post how much was collected. It’s a one off collection to avoid mischief and people coming up with stories, SUPPORT A WOMAN AND SAVE THE VILLAGE.
We are doing this as #teamakothee #teampositivity
ACTION IS BETTER THAN PITY PARTY ,KENYAN MEDIA CAN KILL SOMEONE ALIVE, AND THEY CANT BUY 1 IRON SHEET ,I HATE NAYSAYERS AND ALARMISTS .
( I could give land to her too, but I am not her relative, and no one will be there to take care of her ,so she is safe amidst her relatives) 💪💪 Be blessed as we look forward to support a woman 🙏🏾🙏🏾
In conclusion, madam boss has called people to action by reminding them that action is better than pity.
