Akorino in the recent past were not so popular with fashion before or being on social media as celebrities.

Now we see different akorinos making it big. Few cute Akorino ladies, have excited Kenyans by breaking the old fashioned and boring Akorino look, with a modern and trendy Akorino Swag.

Here are some of the Kenya’s wakorinos that have made waves in 2020;

Pesh - ‘Akorino model’ Peris Wairimu alias Pesh is popular in modeling and an IT specialist. The fashionista behind Careh Beauty Shop, however, noted that men fear approaching her. She noted that the few who make the move are usually not born-again nor ready for a long-term relationship.

Priscilah Careh - She is a fashionista, and make-up artist. She is the founder of Glam with Carey. She had to quit her professional accountant job to venture into entrepreneurship in fashion industry.

Elfoo Gang - Is an upcoming akorino gospel gengetone artist group which comprises of Chris Mwas, Teddy, Boy Tecco and Nhimo Shee. They first appeared on social media after their first song ‘Piga Drama’ which was well received in the country being a gospel gengeton and were supported by the church.

Esther Githinji - the curvaceous mkorino lady! Men do salivate when seeing her photos, she represents the curviest women in the Akorino religion.
