This year started off on a bad note for scandalous gospel singer Alex Apoko popularly known as Ringtone.
The award-winning singer has been making negative headlines for the better part of this year.
Last month, a lady by the name of Angel Nyambura, came out to accuse Ringtone of neglecting his child who is 15 weeks old.
According to Angel, she met Ringtone on Facebook back in 2014 and after meeting physically, they developed feelings for each other and started going out and when she learnt that she was heavy with child, the controversial singer denied her faster Peter denied Jesus Christ.
To make matters worse, he tried to force her to terminate the pregnancy but she refused and opted to give birth to her adorable son who is a spitting image of Ringtone.
The Pamela hit maker totally denied the child is his but the brave Angel, decided to take care of her son with the help of her parents.
Ringtone who has been keeping a low profile, has finally resurfaced, and this time round, he has a message for Kenyans; his haters to be precise.
Ringtone who has ever since become like chewing gum in the mouths of many was forced to quit music last year.
He later recollected himself and went back to singing by releasing a new hot featuring Christina Shusho “Tenda Wema, Nenda Zako” which has currently dominated the local airwaves.
Anyway, here is what Ringtone had to say after going through “hell” in the past few months.
“Thanks to those who hated me, you made me a stronger person. Thanks to those who loved me, you made my heart grow fonder. Thanks to those who envied me, you made my self esteem increase. Thanks to those who cared, you made me feel important. Thanks to those who entered my life, you made me who I am today. Thanks to those who left, you showed me that nothing lasts forever. Thanks to those who stayed, you showed me the true meaning of friendship.”
