Lupita Nyong'o will be in Kenya barely a month after she came for her younger sister's birthday. This time round, she's coming for a totally different mission. She'll be mentoring young local youth, meeting people and taking part in a campaign against sale of artifacts crafted out of wildlife.

The elephant and rhino population in Kenya is on a drastic decline because of poaching and the stellar actress is set to be an instrumental figure in raising awareness about this trend.

“Our country's elephants are a critical piece of the heart of Kenya and we need to take action now to save their population from the threats that continue to endanger their existence,” Standard Digital reports.

She'll be working with WildAid, an organization that seeks to reduce global consumption of such products and raising awareness amongst its consumers.
