Actor Abel Amunga has praised the late Beloved John Apewajoye for being an "extraordinary man" till the last day he breathed his last on earth.

Paying tribute to his son-in-law, Ruth Matete's dad spoke highly of Beloved John at his funeral service at Langata Cemetery in Nairobi, today.

Amunga said, "I still stand strong because this man lying here. He was a strong man. He was strong until the time he died."

He added,

"I remember at Kenyatta National Hospital, the last time I saw him, he smiled. He struggled to smile. And I smiled back. My son, my friend, my intercessor."

Amunga reminisced about a time, he experienced a miracle, thanks to prayers from Beloved John and daughter, Ruth.

"There was a time I was very sick, I was alone in the house. Ruth and Beloved John came into my house and they fervently prayed for me, God revealed a lot of things and the following, morning I would be healed.

He continued,

"I had a dream that night, being ministered to by an angel. The following morning I was completely healed. I have never went back to that institution (hospital). That is because of this man lying here. This man was an extraordinary man. No wonder God grabbed him fast like that."
