Richest singer Akothee is a force to reckon with. Despite the controversies, Akothee supports the less fortunate through her Akothee foundation charity.
We have seen her come to the rescue of hunger-stricken residents of Turkana county and pay school fees for needy bright students.

Well, today she is celebrating her birthday and unlike other birthdays where she throws extravagant parties, this time things are different.
The mother if five, through her foundation donated Sh500,000 to Akothee foundation towards vulnerable communities affected by Covid-19.
The money was used to buy bales of flour, which she handed over to the government to distribute in slum areas.
Speaking exclusively to Mpasho.co.ke on phone, she said,
I Esther Akoth Kokeyo ( Akothee) has donated 500 000 from my to Akothee Foundation, as part of my contribution to assist the government feed the less fortunate and vulnerable communities during the covid-19 pandemic period. Akothee Foundation will then donate the 500,000 ksh in equal measure of Kilifi county 100 bales of unga wa dola, Kisumu County and Turkana county each 100 bales as my birthday gift to my country.
The CEO and founder of Akothee Foundation, has also partnered with Tuskys supermarket to collect dry foods all over the country to assist the vulnerable during this pandemic period as proof that we need each other.
She encouraged Kenyans to donate foodstuffs to vulnerable people.
