Top of the morning happy people on this rather gloomy June morn -though the ay seems to hold the promise of sunshine. I hope you had a restive weekend, I most certainly have. And with that, allow us to get into the 7 hottest stories Kenyans are talking about:

#1.

Being a celebrity in Kenya is one hell of a situation. You are supposed to be a trendsetter when it comes to fashion and also a role model to many. Hence, people expect everything about you to be nothing short of perfection; you should not make mistakes similar to those of mere mortals.

#2.

I have said this before and I will say it again here. Being a parent is something awesome! Yes it is. However, being a responsible parent takes a bit more than providing for your tot. When you take matters to do with your child(ren) on your own hands, you are not just guaranteed of happiness but also an incredible and unequalled sense of belonging.

#3.

We’ve already have had enough of these two! Bahati and Willy Paul’s sideshows are enough to fill a newspaper. There’s no way you can mention these two names in one sentence without anything controversial popping up.

#4.

The struggle to remain relevant is real. You have to fake it till you make it, sweetheart. Anyway if you thought days for socialites posing naked are over, you will be shocked. The trend seems to have started all over again. Young upcoming socialites are dishing out their nudies like concert fliers. This is so as to be seen or be recognized one day in the history of this country.

#5.

Rumour has been going round that the former TPF judge Ian Mbugua is going to be a dad soon (he already has other children). This is after news went viral that Ugandan songstress Juliana Kanyamozi is pregnant. Rumours sparked online after the two were seen hanging out together.

#6.

“Hungry” women now have a new name. They are known as Mafiress/Mafisilets. These type of women are “sex thirsts”. They salivate over any male whether he is handsome or not. Some even drool over men just because of their wealth. Just like men, Mafisi Sacco, there is also a clique of women; Team Mafisiress who have so vocal about their thirst.

#7.

Just like cars, motorbikes are also becoming a necessity not only to celebrities but also rich kids. Whether it’s a cheap nduthi or an expensive Yamaha Roadstar BMS, whatever you own tells more about yourself.
