Once in a while, from the drudgery that is the Kenyan music industry, a great artist who has a touch of virtuosity and passion rises. Unfortunately, you will not see these artists on most covers of the magazine, or on the news every day. Here's  a list of five such Musicians. (In no particular order)

1.Cosmic Homies

is a 'collective of homies who do cosmic stuff'. The group comprises of  Joseph Kiwango, Marushka and the former members of Camp Mulla Karun and Taio Tripper. They refer to the type of music they make as electrorganic.

2. Change Kato

, the charismatic guitarist behind 'Dawn' and 'Summer Sun' is truly a music maestro that will blow your mind.

3. Vivianne Kenya.

The sultry singer behind, 'Same Girl'.

4. Boneless.

The extraordinary dancer has delved into the music world and is set to shake the industry with his unique style. He has released songs such as 'Supasta'.

5. Kagwe Mungai.

Kagwe, the producer virtuoso and smooth singer is definitely an understated artist that is a force to reckon with.
