In a few years, you won't need to go to an agent when you want to withdraw money, it'll just drop from heaven. You think my prediction is crazy? Last year, Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg predicted that humans would one day be able to talk with their minds and get Internet access from orbital lasers beaming power down to Earth. That sounds crazy too.

5. Virtual Reality 

Virtual reality will be the biggest game changer in the entertainment industry in 2016.

4. Wearables

Apple helped make people comfortable with the idea of wearing tiny data-collecting computer screens on their bodies with the April 2015 launch of Apple Watch. In 2016, expect more players to hop onto this trend, and expect newer devices to be more capable.

3. Smart Cars

Well, you've probably seen a few smart cars on Kenyan roads, but we're yet to see fully autonomous vehicles and 2016 might just be a stand-out year for smart car tech.

2. Artificial intelligence

If you're still single in 2016 and you need someone to talk to, don't even bother stalking that girl or that guy on Instagram, since French company Blue Frog Robotics is set to begin selling a social robot called Buddy this year.

1.Self-Charging Phones

These phones will be able to charge themselves through wavelengths. Japanese telecom company KDDI Corp will soon launch a product, called Cota, that will automatically recharge mobile phones at a distance, similar to how WiFi transmitters deliver data from routers to devices.
