5 Things You Don't Know About Kenyan Gospel Trap Music Group T412 They Guys Who Dissed 'Hypocritical Gospel Stars'

T412 are a Kenyan Gospel Rap Group that have been in the gospel music industry for six years now. People only really got to listen to them when they called out top gospel stars wh are not "Christ-like".

They were on the spot light because of the song 'Nasa Hao'. The song revealed challenges gospel artistes face in the industry.

Below are some interesting things you may not be aware about T412;

  1. Their group name comes from the bible

In an interview with Mpasho, they revealed, ''The name T412 came from 1st Timothy 4:12 which says do not let anyone look down you because you are young but set an example to the believers in your speech, conduct, love, faith and purity. Hence the acronym T412.''

2. They have other talents

We talked to three members of the group Milome, Jemedy and Clive. Milome is a cartoon artist, Jemedy on the other hand designs bags and clothes while Clive is a video director. Clive mentioned he had something to do with the 'Bazokizo' music video by Collo and Bruz Newton.

3. T412 are a diverse group

The group revealed that they can do more than one genre of music

"Trap music is our strong point but we do various genres we do Afro pop and Hip Hop. Its just that Trap Music is trending but we are flexible," they added.

4. Their Music is aimed at airing problems the youth face

Recent song done by the group titled Charger which seemed to have controversial lyrics with the chorus in part read, "Nani akona charger, ya pin kubwa ya pin ndogo".

T412explained to Mpasho that the lyrics actually is a street lingo for ordering drugs. The song is meant to create awareness about drugs in the hood.

"The words used for the chorus are simplified so that youths from the ghetto can relate to the music."

5. They do normal stuff just like any other person in their twenties.

T412 during their free time, hang out with their friends and also pray a lot for God's guidance.
