Obama's daughters have grown before our eyes. They are now beautiful young ladies who are already turning heads - for all the good reasons. Recently, however, Malia Obama has been on the spotlight; potential suitors have made outrageous marriage proposals. She's been highlighted for supporting the controversial music group .

Here are some of the 5 things you need to know about Obama's daughters.

1. They have cellphones

Back in 2013 at Obama's second inauguration as president, the two girls took selfies with their parents. One of the most memorable photos from the event is when Malia photobombed her dad and mom when they were kissing.

2. Dating

Obama has not been super tough in letting his daughters have fun. On May 30th 2014, the US President revealed that by then 15-year-old daughter Malia had gone on her first Prom. She had graduated from 10th grade. Obama has in the past talked about parenting as a President and the challenges that come with it. Sasha will definitely follow suit when the right time comes.

3. Allowed to work

They are allowed to venture into the working world so that they can gain experience. Malia recently took an internship with Lena Dunham’s HBO show “Girls” in Brooklyn, New York. Previously, Malia interned with Halle Berry’s CBS show “Extant” in Los Angeles. This may be replicated on to the younger daughter, Sasha once she gets to at least 17 or 18.

4. Clubbing

In a 2013 , Obama said that their daughters now want to spend less time with them.

“Saturday night!” says the First Lady. “The kids are out with their friends. Let’s go party!,” Michelle blurted out.

To which Obama responded,

“The Obamas are out in the club again?’ he said, laughing. “What is true...is that we probably—even before we came to Washington—had already settled in a little bit to parenthood. And...Let’s put it this way: I did an awful lot of socializing in my teens and 20s."

5. Fashionable

The daughters are in the eyes of international designers who always want to dress them.  The Obamas are fashionable. From the mum to the daughters, the ladies at the White House are fashionable.
